On December 21, 2024, TEC Nepalese Society, in collaboration with Free Bikes 4 Kidz Maryland, distributed approximately 100 refurbished bikes and new helmets to children in the Baltimore area, spreading holiday cheer and promoting a more active lifestyle. This initiative, powered by the dedication of numerous volunteers from TEC, reflects the shared mission of both organizations to create meaningful change for local families.
Volunteers were the backbone of the event, managing logistics, transporting bikes, and assisting with distribution. Their dedication ensured every child left with a smile and a helmet, ready to embark on new adventures. By turning this initiative into a day of celebration and connection, they demonstrated the incredible impact of community spirit in action.
While not every request could be fulfilled this year, TEC Nepalese Society is committed to expanding this impactful initiative in the future. Families expressed immense gratitude for the initiative, which fosters joy, sense of community, and opportunity.
